The Photo Studio

The client

The Photo Studio are a creative team of fashion photographers, makeup artists and stylists who love to uncover people’s story and celebrate it in a photo shoot. They believe that nobody is ordinary and that high-end photography shouldn’t be exclusive to high-end fashion models.

The beautiful shots featured across the brand touchpoints, are taken in two retro warehouses that have been converted into amazing studios.

The website

We initially started working with The Photo Studio team to redesign and develop their website to act as an additional touch point of their brand and really utilise the great image and content that they had crafted. The site needed to become a resource for all things photo shoot related, in addition to providing multiple call to action points which would drive people to get in touch or book a photoshoot package.

Voting System

We are constantly working with The Photo Studio team to improve the functionality of their site. One of these improvements was the creation of an event gallery from pop up studios, that allowed people to vote on their favourite photo from the event. Users can only vote once and the system captures their contact details allowing The Photo Studio team to follow up any opportunities for bookings

The users can also download their image or share it on social media to ramp up even more votes!

Email Newsletter

We created an easy to use drag & drop email template that kept it in line with the Photo Studio brand and designed a versatile layout that could be used for any type of email. The Photo Studio love the detailed reports that Campaign Monitor provides when they deliver a campaign, as well as the ability to run A/B testing on all elements of the emails.

Booking System

The Photo Studio approached us to create an online system for their booking team that would help decrease drop off rates that at times occur between taking a booking and the actual day of a photoshoot. To address this issue we created a system that linked in with Campaign Monitor to use the booking information in a series of customer emails to maintain engagement and involvement as they wait for their big day. This information also hooked into Twillo, a text messaging service, to deliver customer reminders the day before key dates.

When the team makes a booking, they choose what ‘type’ of customer the client is (i.e female modelling), add in all the relevant booking details and hit save. The system then automatically calculates which emails should be sent and then calculates the time between the booking date and the shoot date that these touch points should be sent.
